TraderWagon Social Trading - Binance 3rd Party Tool



TraderWagon is a social crypto trading platform which helps beginners find experienced traders and copy their trades. Users can quickly log in using their Binance credentials on TraderWagon, and use third-party app on Binance.



My Role



Design Lead and Product Designer


I am the Design Lead for TraderWagon and led 2-4 designers to develop the product including the social media and platform experience. I managed the designers to create design guidelines, components, page flows and reviewed user experiences on the TraderWagon platform.





User Journey Map



Conducted workshops and interviews to understand the user journey and discover the processes or steps where users encounter issues. The issues found from the mapping exercise were resolved and achieved a 30% increase of users.





Web Design Overview



Web Design Iterations



Homepage and Filter:
- Reduced the height of the activity banner so that the visual focus is on the portfolio card
- Improved the usage of filters
- Updated my favorites location to increase its usage
- Increased the number of Portfolio cards on the first page (9-20)
- Added more sorting and API filters


Copy Settings page:
- Reduced the problem of returning to the previous page
- Deleted illustrations and added more settings
- Added more user friendly tips for beginners
- Placed stop-profit and stop-loss on the first layer based on user feedback

User Feedback from Social Media



My team would review and validate user feedback and issues from social media every week. After confirming the priority of the issues with other teams, we made modifications to resolve the problems.





Binance 3rd Party Tool



This Binance 3rd Party Tool is an embedded app on the Binance homepage. Users can use the app to copy trade with his/her Binance wallet and was the most popular copy trading tool prior to Binance having its own copy trading feature.
